Description
The beach is long, clear and broad, delimited on one side by a reef. Just few meters away from the sea, a marvellous Mediterranean vegetation decorate the landscape. Its name comes from the ancient Sardinian god of water: Maimone.
In the seabed corresponding to central area of the beach, you’ll find some rocks and a bank of Posidonia oceanica (algae).

in two nice typical wooden buildings on the beach you’ll find the restaurant and bar facility:

Directions
From Oristano, head north following the directions to Torregrande; then you’ll find a roundabout after 4 km; take direction «Tharros – spiagge del Sinis».
After about 10 km pay attention because the indication to Maimoni – Oasi di Seu is not so visible. Turn right and continue for about 5 km on a dirt road.
Useful informations
For cyclists and bikers: because of the dirt road, in the periods where the beach is more crowded, this road tract will be particularly dusty.
Warning: no chance to buy magazines, newspapers, sun creams or any beach equipment on site, unless going to the nearest village, about 12 km away.
